Linux setup

Production deployment on Ubuntu 22.04 / Debian 12.

Install dependencies

Database

Build and run

cd aetheris-app
npm ci && npx prisma generate && npx prisma migrate deploy
npm run build
cp .env.example .env   # edit DATABASE_URL, REDIS_URL, etc.

Systemd services

The automated installer generates units under deploy/. Copy and enable:

sudo cp deploy/*.service /etc/systemd/system/
sudo systemctl daemon-reload
sudo systemctl enable --now aetheris-web aetheris-worker aetheris-backend

Firewall

Open ports 80 and 443. Keep PostgreSQL (5432) and Redis (6379) on loopback only.
